Track order intent, payment execution, and confirmation status cleanly across AI-assisted flows.

Use the shared checkout endpoint instead of writing payment logic per project.

Gate only after a preview or one free success unless there is a strong abuse reason.

Prefer Paddle API mode when `PADDLE_API_KEY`, `PADDLE_PRICE_ID_*`, and `NEXT_PUBLIC_PADDLE_CLIENT_TOKEN` are ready.

Keep hosted checkout URL env vars as the fallback path when provider API setup is not complete.
